JOB TITLE: SENIOR IT PROFESSIONAL
DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS IT
(up to $80k annually prorated based on 2 or 3 days a week)
JOB TYPE: Part time (you will be required to come to the office for 2-3 days a week depending on the work requirement)
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Professional seeking an opportunity to make a difference. Responsibilities
- Maintain catalog of hardware and software per office locations (Toronto and India) and for remote workers of the offices
- Manage license purchases, installations, upgrades, and configurations for staff hardware and software
- Manage contracts with vendors engaged for on-site operational support
- Interoperate with security partners for installation and functionality of on-site security systems
- Interoperate with IT networking to ensure on-site connectivity including monitoring the network, diagnosing problems and taking corrective measures
- Interoperate with office managers to ensure corresponding seats and equipment are available for in-office staff
- Interoperate with helpdesk and security for digital and physical access control
- Interoperate with IT leadership for contracts and subscriptions management
- Control cost and budget for hardware and software issued to staff
- Other opportunities as assigned
Requirements
- +5 years of procurement and contracting
- +5 years of digital asset management
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in IT operations management
- Proven experience with IT on-site operations
- Proven experience with software licenses and subscriptions procurement and lifecycle management
- Knowledge of data protection operations and legislations.
- Talent in dealing with teams of widely varying skill and engagement level
- Clear sight of the future through challenges of today
