ROLE:
Webware.io, a leading SaaS platform for website building, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Frontend Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of frontend developers and configurators to build websites using our SaaS platform. Your primary focus will be to ensure the team's efficiency, resolve any issues they encounter in website building and front-end work, and drive the successful delivery of high-quality websites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and lead a team of front-end developers and configurators, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize their potential and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA testers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of websites.
- Oversee the entire website building process, from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance.
- Proactively identify and resolve any technical or operational issues that hinder the team's progress, implementing effective solutions and process improvements.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and a culture of innovation within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends, technologies, and industry standards, incorporating them into the team's practices to drive innovation and excellence.
- Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders on project status, team performance, and key metrics, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of practical frontend web development experience
- Proven experience managing and leading front-end development teams, preferably in a SaaS or web development environment.
- Strong technical expertise in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of website building processes, SaaS platforms, and front-end development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges faced by the team.
- Skilled in bridging the gap between creative and technical aspects of website development
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their goals.
